The first project of Northgate Productions (now Northern Legend Productions) is labelled as TT300. The final name is not announced yet, as it is not wholely decided.

TT300 is a tribute to blockbuster film "300". The idea for the movie came from our member Aatu Kreivi, originally from a movie like sample he saw in a dream. We choosed "300" as our theme in our high school ending party, so we had necessary gear for two Spartans and for few Immortals. We thought about it, and why not? Why we would have expensive outfits only to be dressed once and then let them be covered in dust in the depths of our closets. We are great fans of "300", we have accessories for it, and we have a dream. That's all necessary ingredients to begin to forge the dream to true.

In the very early stages of this production, our goal was simply to make visually great bloodbath, were two Spartans would slay hordes of Persians without any apparent reason, just a feat. I introduced this project to our friend Lauri Autere, and he forged a spirit to our project and set in to context. And not only the prologue, but also the whole body of the chain of events from the very first frame to the very last. Great work, sincere thanks to Lauri.

We are trying to captivate the unique look and feel of "300" to this movie, through the effect nicknamed "the Crush" to the very intense speed ramps.

It could be said, that the pre-production for the movie started in the first days of last summer, when I and Aatu discussed about the contents of the movie, possible shooting locations, visual effects and other related things. We changed thoughts very often, and the movie started slowly to take shape. Our goal was to start filming at summer, but our only problem was that we didn't have sufficient video camera. The camera we used when we were in Karvareuhka Productions was awful, and no self-respecting film-maker could wield such dissapointing device. At that time we did not have the possibilites to get enough good camera, but we didn't stop our motion, but continued active pre-producting. With Aatu Kreivi and Arto Tammenoksa, the main choreographer, we started to rehearse fights for the movie.

And finally, we got the good video camera and shooting could began. Few important shooting days were in vain because our core team and few others had some differences in our visions in shooting this film. We have also encountered various difficulties, for example the snow fell on the ground more earlier than in five years or so, and we would have hoped to film in autumn landscapes. However, shooting continues to this day and onward, and we have got ready footage. Struggle to victory.
In the first production project named TT300, the story tells of two Spartans, who are set on a journey to retrieve blade of King Leonidas.

"After the victorious battles of Salamis and Platai, and the re-occupation of mainland Greece, general Pausanias - the Spartan successor to the throne, sent an expedition to Thermopylae to search and restore the remains of King Leonidas.

Not even the most blatant Persian had dared to defile the mortal body of the king, and his spear, shield and helmet were to be found nearby, buried under a massive pile of bitterly fought out Spartans. But the sword of the Agiad king was nowhere to be found.

However, this time the Gods seemed to favour bold Greeks. The expedition caught a Persian spy, left to gather information. A swift torture revealed that a group of fleeing Persians had received an order from Xerxes himself, to find this ancient Lakedaimonian blade - and with it, retreat to a far north land - where, it was said, the Sun never stops shining.

Less than two days had passed since the Persian garrison had left Thermopylae. A Spartan captain, making the only tolerable act in that position, takes his best lieutenant with him and heads North, tracking the trails before they get cold.

The fate of the most sacred artefact of the Spartan tribe is in his hands."
